ABS Hour
ABS Hour is a journal club style gathering held every Wednesday afternoon during the semester. Rather than discussing only academic publications, we also discuss news, events, and other developments in the conservation world. Everyone is welcome to join, make sure you are added to the ABS-PROGRAM listserv (**see instructions below) get the latest updates!
Past discussion topics include: Implications of cloning and “de-extinction” on conservation, the American Ornithological Society’s proposal to rename birds named after people, and the impacts of nature documentaries on public perception of conservation
